In the
aftermath of a relationship disintegration, I bought this album, and
serendipitously discovered this song. The lyrics spoke to me in a way that very
perfectly encapsulated how I was feeling at that point in time. The up beat
feel to it, and the lyrics saying to me, that I'll be alright, just not
tonight, was what I needed to hear at the time. It gave me hope that, despite
wishing and hoping that things would be different, they weren't, but that it
would be ok, because I'd get over him, eventually.
Now, I look
back on that time, and I can't understand why I was so upset. Now, I am
alright, as I've found the other side of someday...
