100 and something days in China - Day 308

I'm guessing on the day here....but it was about at the 8 week mark, then working forwards to when you were born and backwards to when I arrived...

Either way it was exciting news to receive in the coffee line of espresso to go.

Seoul - what I did and how I did it

I cheated. Stayed with some lovely friends, enjoyed their spectacular view and great company and well planned trips out for good times. Games of uno, cups of tea, some kimchi, a bit of retail therapy, and obligatory coffee stops.

Copenhagen - what I did and how I did it (part 5 Torvehallerne)

Torvehallerne. One of the best food halls ever.  When I move to Copenhagen and spend my days walking the dog with my handsome duffel coated boyfriend, I suspect we are going to spend a lot of time shopping here.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

It started snowing on the train ride, and then white flakes of snow drifted on the walk from the station to the museum and it was just like I was in a dream. Then a glimpse of the ocean, all whitewash and grey. Breathtaking.

Louise Bourgeois exhibition, a hot chocolate and danish for a late breakfast and a wander through the sculpture garden in the snow. And that ocean view. One of the best days of my life.

Copenhagen - what I did and how I did it (part 4 Uformel )

Great thing I discovered in Copenhagen, when trawling through all the Michelin starred restaurants... I found out that many had side joints related to them. Uformel is one of them, as they describe the restaurant as their other restaurant's (formel B’s) cool and edgy younger brother.

Turns out Uformel is the bomb. Everything about this place was the best - from the phone call (when they said, lady - we can fit you in, just come when you're ready) to the best service I've had in a long time. They'd arranged a table for one for me right in front of the kitchen. It was like I was watching a movie. Great martini. The food was divine. Pork scratchy. Best solo dining experience ever.
