Farmers Market Selcuk

It is kind of nice that farmers markets are sort of universally the same, though this one has the strong scent of dill. It was filled with glorious colours - bright cherries, and plump apricots, so sweet and divine. And the artichoke, always so beautiful, it deserves a vase - though I would love to have cooked a dozen or so. I've never seen them quite so tall.

And like most farmers markets produce was grouped - fruits, vegetables, herbs, cheeses, spices, olives and nuts all had their place, with the stall holders vying for business and the folk of the town buying up for the week ahead.
