Instillation art in the everyday




Am I alone in thinking this is just beautiful?

    I think it isn't art until an artist says it's art. Congratulations, you just turned it into art.

    More serious answer: no, you are not alone. It *is* beautiful. But surely some of the beauty is in the composition of your photos. You saw that is was beautiful and by documenting it maybe you made it so.

    I think sometimes it takes an artist to point out the beauty in something that might be regarded as "ordinary". I'm waffling about how artists just look at things in a different way.

    I think it is beautiful. But I turn around and look at my washing hanging on the line before I go back inside and love how that is.

    I wonder if the park workers call it art?

    I bet the park workers secretly arrange it all to look just right. Maybe they research Christo every morning before work.
