The European

Have you been to the European in Melbourne? It is a wonderful cafe on 161 Spring Street, and it is very European. Surprisingly so! Tiny entry, which opens into a dark wood interior, Bentwood chairs and a menu to die for. It reminded me of the cafe houses my great uncle would go to in Austria, where everything is just so - but not in an uptight way, just the was it's just supposed to be. You know, comfortably so.

Even if you don't yearn to rekindle childhood memories, look at brunch! I dare you to scroll down the breakfast page and look. Sigh.
