Guangdong Museum of Art

I'm not sure why it took me so long to visit this museum. I assumed I'd be disappointed given how difficult it was to find anything current about this gallery on the interwebs...turns out I was wrong.  Big gallery space, a bit old and dark, but I was lucky enough to catch an exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (showing until 23rd October). In contrast I also saw a Sean Scully retrospective (last day in Guangzhou 9 October but travelling to other parts of China). More on Sean Scully later.
