Hanami!

Hanami is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, almost always meaning cherry or plum blossoms. Well coincidently it is that time here in Canberra town and a great reason to celebrate birthdays and all things Japanese!

Speaking of...do you know how hard it is to ride a pushbike wearing a vintage kimono? Let me tell you, it is really very tricky. On the flip side, do you know how hard it is to ride it home after cocktails, champagne and bourbon wearing said kimono? Kinda hard, but also invigorating fanging down Canberra avenue with the wind flapping against those big heavy sleeves.
