Get down low and Jo Jo Jo

Soak apple in vodka. 

Make some sugar syrup and then put it in the freezer for a bit because you were so disorganised and need to make the cocktail quickly because dinner is ready

Put a lot of ice into a tumbler (mainly because the sugar syrup is still a bit on the warm side)

Juice a lemon and split it between the two glasses

Add the apple soaked vodka

Add the vodka the apple was soaking in

Mix in sugar syrup

Add mint

Stir and you are done

Raging Against The Machine

I really wanted to name this cocktail using lyrics from Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name Of", but it seemed a little risqué. It's been my theme song of the last week. I haven't actually listened to it, just listened to it inside my head (which is pretty much the same thing, just a bit quieter).

Because it's Sunday and I'm feeling a bit under the weather I thought I'd make a drink using fresh ruby grapefruit, gin, and campari. Because I'm feeling a bit under the weather I forgot what I was doing and made this:

Juice two ruby grapefruits, add a teaspoon of sugar and stir.
Add a good dash of gin.
Add half of that dash of cointreau.
Fill glass with ice and stir.
