I was only little when the song came out and i thought it was amazing. I got my dad to put it on loop for me on tape at a recording studio so i didn't have to get up from the doorway of the loungeroom to rewind and press play again. In my daydream that accompanied the song I changed the romantic connotations to just love itself and made it fit how my family had crumbled, therefore 'Love is a Battlefield!' funny (morbid????). I still love it.
