After
graduating from high school I decided to take a gap year and travel across
North America and Europe. One of
the highlights of the trip was a month long bus tour of Europe with a group of
about 30 other people in their late teens and early twenties. At the start of the trip the group had
to nominate an 'anthem' that would be played when it was time to wake up and
start partying (or sightseeing).
'Life is a Highway' was our 'anthem'. The trip was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my
life so far, traveling between such fun, vibrant and interesting places with
equally fun, vibrant and interesting people.
