Phoenix

Sometimes it is a good idea to get out of town, eat too many mini chocolates, watch an amazing band and drink middle eastern cocktails and germanic beers. Even if it means a six hour round trip and bad 7-11 coffee. 

As long as the company is good and the music is great - the six hours in the car and the coffee is totally forgivable. Tick and tick. Phoenix were outstanding and played a mix of old songs and new. The crowd was sing song happy and the band was professional and gracious. So nice to be reminded why this is one of my favourite bands.
