It doesn't matter how your day is when you start it by having someone yell out that you are awesome for riding a bike while wearing a skirt.
It doesn't matter how your day is when your walking home from work and think about that great BLT that was delivered to your work (with hot soup) for less than $10.
It doesn't matter how your day is when you go to hail a taxi and the driver is patient with your crap description of where you are going, is nice about your appalling language skills and then is gracious about taking the tip you want to give him for not ripping you off.
It doesn't matter how your day is when you take a yoga class and even though you are the most uncoordinated person in the room, you teacher is kind and nice and doesn't make you feel like a big klutz (and he rings a really pleasant bell at the beginning and end).
It doesn't matter how your day is when yoga is followed by wine and good company.
It doesn't matter how your day is when you ride home in the dark like a bmx bandit, the only guilao in this town riding with a handbag and a yoga mat.
It doesn't matter how your day is when you ride purposely down the part you normally can't go on with a bike...because it is dark and after 11pm and what's the worst thing that can happen?
It doesn't matter how your day is when you get home all windswept and rosy cheeked and marvel that you live in a megacity, yet you can start the day on a pushbike and end it that way as well.
