Salamanca markets in Hobart. Every Saturday home to a whole lot of stalls and a gazillion people all jostling for a mix of gourmet produce, bespoke lavender products, Tasmanian wood products and scallop pizza (!!??!!).
Learning moment? Markets can be overwhelming sometimes and make some people a bit edgy. Learning moment in return? Ice-cream fixes pretty much everything especially when it is some sort of Tasmanian, organic, hokey-pokey kind of concoction.
