The rules: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen albums you've heard that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes.

I dropped the Beatles for the Beastie Boys....it was as a dilemma. Have to say both your lists show a lot more balance than mine. I have regrets to have missed Johnny Cash and Elvis. Lavinia's inclusion of Janet Jackson makes me more happy about Duran Duran.
ReplyDeletePower, Corruption and Lies - New Order
ReplyDeleteSince the Accident - Severed Heads
Prat Culture - Scattered Order
Half-mute -Tuxedomoon
Tri Repetae - Autechre
Force Majeure - Tangerine Dream
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Thunderhead - The Clouds
Faith - The Cure
The A List - Wire (a bit of a cheat since it's a compilation)
Body Blow - Headless Chickens
Too Dark Park - Skinny Puppy
Riven - Robyn Miller (yeah, a game soundtrack)
For the Time Being - A Slow Rip
Computer world - Kraftwerk
Interesting addition of the Clouds. I have big regrets for not including the Hummingbirds & Plunderers given they were such a big part of my early music life. Maybe a Sydney music top 15 is in order for me.
